Biography

I was born to parents who met during their university studies in the USSR and left soon after to start a family in Bulgaria. By the time I came into the world, the Soviet Union was falling apart, and Bulgaria was beginning its transition to a parliamentary republic.

Twenty-something years later, I was handed a camera which set me on a journey through life’s endless stream of visual poetry – each click of the shutter a possible gateway through space and time, pulling me back to fleeting moments that vanished in an instant or propelling me toward places I was never meant to be.
